North Korea Successfully Launches Military Satellite, South Korea Reacts

Military analysts from South Korea have confirmed that North Korea’s satellite has successfully entered orbit after a thorough analysis. This development was reported by Reuters.

North Korea had announced its intention to launch a military satellite between November 22nd and December 1st, and on November 20th, the country issued a warning stating that the Yellow Sea, East China Sea, and the waters east of Luzon Island were in the danger zone.

On November 21st, Japan reported that North Korea had launched a rocket, presumably carrying a satellite. Residents of the southern prefecture of Okinawa were advised to take shelter in buildings, basements, or underground facilities in case debris from the North Korean rocket fell.

Following the satellite launch, South Korea announced the partial suspension of its military agreement with North Korea.

Moreover, North Korea has plans to launch several more satellites in the future.

Earlier, North Korea had released photos of the successful launch of their reconnaissance satellite.
