Washington, November 22 – The Rainbow Bridge at Niagara Falls, located on the border between the United States and Canada, has been closed following an incident involving a vehicle at the checkpoint, according to ABC News Buffalo. The bridge is closed in both directions due to an incident related to a vehicle heading towards the United States. There has been some kind of explosion. A significant number of law enforcement personnel are currently on the scene, as mentioned in the report. The FBI stated that they, along with local and federal authorities, are investigating the car explosion on the bridge between the two countries. According to Fox News, passengers inside the vehicle died, and a border officer sustained injuries. Furthermore, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is considering this incident as a possible attempted act of terrorism. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that the country’s authorities are gathering information about the explosion and are in contact with their American counterparts. He mentioned that additional security measures are being considered at all border crossings in light of the incident.
