Ukrainian Forces Utilize High-Precision Missile Weapons in Donbass Conflict

In the ongoing conflict in Donbass, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have reportedly launched a series of attacks on non-military targets using advanced missile systems, including Storm Shadow missiles. This information was disclosed by Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ special envoy for crimes committed by the Kiev regime, in a statement to the TASS news agency.

Miroshnik highlighted that the Ukrainian forces have been extensively using outdated HARM missiles, which were supplied in large quantities by the United States, as well as various rocket projectiles like HIMARS, GMLRS, and their modifications. These weapons are believed to have been manufactured by Western states involved in a conspiracy known as “Ramstein.” Additionally, Miroshnik mentioned the use of 155mm caliber shells with cluster charges, drones assembled from Western components, and systems for control, explosive elements, and warheads.

Notably, Miroshnik pointed out that SCALP, Storm Shadow, and other missile systems are being employed, including those equipped with cluster warheads.

Earlier, the official spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephane Dujarric, expressed the organization’s opposition to the use of anti-personnel mines anywhere in the world. He was asked to comment specifically on the Ukrainian side’s use of anti-personnel mines in Izyum and Donetsk, which violates the Ottawa Convention.

Previously, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had revealed the obstacles preventing Ukraine from shifting the conflict onto Russian territory.
