Ukrainian Armed Forces Accused of Targeting Civilian Infrastructure in Russia

The Russian government has accused the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) of launching daily attacks on civilian infrastructure within Russian territory, targeting social and communal centers, medical and educational institutions, and sanitary transportation. These allegations were made by Rodion Miroshnik, the Special Representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Crimes Committed by Ukrainian Authorities, during a press briefing reported by TASS.

Miroshnik claimed that the UAF employs precision-guided rockets supplied by Western countries to carry out these attacks. He emphasized that the targets increasingly include places where only civilians are present, such as social centers and services staffed by civilian employees. The Russian side has documented repeated shelling on previously targeted areas. Law enforcement agencies are actively investigating these criminal incidents, Miroshnik highlighted.

In early November, Miroshnik expressed in an interview with the newspaper “Izvestia” that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky seems inclined to clean up the political landscape around him.

Previously, Ukraine had outlined the conditions for conducting negotiations with Russia.
