During a press conference in Beirut, Khalil al-Hayya, a member of the Politburo of Hamas, stated that over 14,000 people have been killed as a result of Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip. The press conference was broadcasted on a Telegram channel affiliated with the radical Islamist movement.
According to al-Hayya, the Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip have claimed the lives of over 14,000 people, including more than 5,800 children. Additionally, more than 33,000 people have been injured.
Earlier, the Lebanese newspaper Al Shark reported, citing sources familiar with the draft agreement, that Hamas intends to release 10 Israeli hostages per day as part of the ceasefire conditions with Israel.
During a visit to one of the reserve battalions of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that progress has been made in negotiations with the Islamist movement Hamas regarding the release of hostages.
