Russian forces operating in the Central Military District (CMD) have successfully destroyed Ukrainian military personnel and strongholds along the Krasnolimansk direction. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (MoD RF) reported this development, as cited by RIA Novosti.
According to the MoD RF, a designated mortar team nicknamed “Voskhod” has been relentlessly engaging identified targets, with support from unmanned aerial vehicles and advanced reconnaissance groups. The team operates round the clock, not only targeting known objectives but also practicing fire strikes based on intelligence regarding Ukrainian military movements.
The MoD RF stated that the “Voskhod” team has established a network of hidden firing positions to minimize deployment time and maximize the effectiveness of their attacks.
On November 20th, the MoD RF announced that Russian troops had inflicted damage on Ukrainian military personnel and equipment in 123 areas.
Prior to this, it was reported that Russian forces in the CMD had successfully repelled an attack by the “Azov” battalion (an organization banned in Russia) south of Kuzmina in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR).
On November 19th, it was revealed that the Russian army had employed cassette ammunition against Ukrainian forces for the first time.
Additionally, on November 20th, it was reported that Russian attack helicopters, specifically the Ka-52 “Alligator,” belonging to the CMD, had destroyed a long-standing Ukrainian military stronghold along the Krasnolimansk direction.
Earlier, Russian forces had also targeted Ukrainian military personnel and equipment along the Kupyansk direction.
