Houthi Rebels to Release Israeli Ship Galaxy Leader After Ceasefire in Gaza Sector

The Houthi rebels have announced on social media that they will release the seized cargo ship Galaxy Leader in the Red Sea after the war in the Gaza sector comes to an end and humanitarian aid is provided to local residents. This announcement comes amidst escalating tensions between Israel and Palestine.

Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Higher Political Council of the Republic, stated, “If America and Israel stop killing Palestinians in the Gaza sector, and provide water, medicine, and food, then they can talk about the Israeli ship.”

On November 19th, the news channel Al Hadath reported, citing sources, that the Israeli cargo ship Galaxy Leader had been captured in the waters of the Red Sea. The attack was allegedly carried out by Yemeni Houthi rebels.

It is currently unknown whether there are any Russian citizens on board the seized Israeli vessel in the Red Sea.

According to available information, there were 25 individuals on board the ship, including citizens from Ukraine, Mexico, the Philippines, and Bulgaria.

Earlier, the Houthi rebels provided details about the treatment of the crew members of the captured ship in the Red Sea.
