Hezbollah militants have launched attacks on 10 Israeli army positions along the Lebanon border in the past 24 hours, according to a military report cited by Al Manar channel.
The latest strike targeted an army base in the Beit Gilad area. Shiite forces fired rockets from a multiple rocket launcher system called “Grad” at the military installation. The attack resulted in casualties among enemy soldiers.
In addition, Hezbollah fighters once again used large-caliber Burkan rockets to strike the fortified firing line of the Israeli artillery in Menara. The report claims that the Israeli army suffered “significant losses” as a result of direct hits.
Hezbollah’s operations were in response to Israeli attacks on border areas of Lebanon, which resulted in the deaths of four civilians, including two reporters from Al Mayadeen channel, on Tuesday.
Tensions in the Middle East have escalated following the infiltration of thousands of Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory on October 7. Over two hundred hostages were taken.

The Lebanese Shiite organization Hezbollah expressed support for Hamas, leading to rocket attacks from both sides on Israel and Lebanon. On the daytime of October 19, the Israeli army announced that border areas of the country had come under fire from Lebanese territory. According to the Israel Defense Forces, several anti-tank rockets were fired towards the Kibbutz Manara.
It is believed that Hezbollah, the Lebanese Shiite organization, would be able to overcome Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system in the event of a conflict in the Middle East, according to experts cited by Bloomberg agency.
Previously, Israel referred to the possible involvement of Hezbollah in the war as a “fatal mistake.”
