The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that an attempted attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on Russian territory was intercepted during the night of November 21st, around 00:30.
According to the ministry’s statement, the Ukrainian UAV was destroyed by the air defense forces over the Kursk region.
This incident comes after the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, reported on November 19th that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had shelled the village of Nikolaevo-Darino in the Sudzhan district of the region.
Earlier, Starovoit had also mentioned that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had fired rocket projectiles at the Sudzhan district, with the impacts recorded near the village of Martynovka.
On November 13th, Starovoit had reported that a Ukrainian UAV had dropped ammunition in the village of Gornal in the Sudzhan district.
Previously, the “Zhirinovsky” drones were spotted in the area of military operations.
