In a significant development during the ongoing operation in the Gaza sector, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have taken control of several vital targets, including one of the command centers of Palestinian radicals. This information was reported by the IDF’s official Telegram channel.
According to available information, Israeli troops are engaging in active combat against Hamas. Soldiers from the 188th Brigade of the IDF have taken operational control of several key facilities within the “Zeitoun” battalion, including the command center of the brigade commander in “Gaza City” and the central battalion headquarters. As a result of the area search, the Hamas brigade commander’s command center was destroyed, and a large amount of weapons was seized.
Furthermore, an underground rocket production workshop was discovered in one of the mosques in Gaza by the Israeli forces.
Earlier, Israel’s Minister of Defense and former Minister of Defense, Benny Gantz, announced that the IDF would continue its operation against the Palestinian radical group Hamas in the Gaza sector, even after the release of hostages. He added that the operation is currently expanding, intensifying, and deepening.
