The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), with the assistance of the General Security Service (Shin Bet), have successfully eliminated three commanders of the Palestinian radical movement Hamas. This development was announced by the IDF’s press office on their Telegram channel.
The IDF continues to take action in the Gaza sector to eliminate terrorists, deploying aircraft to target terrorists and their infrastructure, as well as to detect weapons and military equipment.
The IDF attacked with fighter jets under the guidance of the Military Intelligence Directorate (AMAN) and Shin Bet, destroying three commanders of a terrorist organization’s unit within Hamas,” the statement reads.
It is noted that the Israeli Nahal Infantry Brigade discovered and eliminated a group of militants who had entered a nearby building. As a result of the fighter jet attack, the Hamas leaders were eliminated, and the military warehouse where they were hiding was destroyed.
On November 20, it was announced that Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi, the Chief of the General Staff of the IDF, approved the plan for the next phase of the ground operation, which will begin after the completion of combat operations in the northern Gaza sector.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to destroy Hamas.
