Russian Aviation Corporation Patents Multifunctional Tactical Aircraft

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has recently patented a multifunctional two-seater stealth tactical aircraft, according to reports from TASS citing the patent description.

The document reveals that the invention is a versatile two-seater stealth tactical aircraft designed for detecting and engaging airborne, ground, and surface targets at supersonic and subsonic speeds across a wide range of altitudes. Additionally, it can serve as an airborne command post for network-centric operations involving mixed groups of aircraft.

The description further specifies that the new invention bears the most resemblance to the Su-30MK family of aircraft, sharing several common features and characteristics.

Previously, it was reported that an experimental fifth-generation lightweight fighter aircraft called Checkmate could be unveiled by the end of 2025, as stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov on November 13th. Military observer Mikhail Khodarenok from “Gazeta.Ru” analyzed the aircraft and its advantages over foreign counterparts.

Earlier in Russia, a new drone suppression system was developed.
