In a recent update released by the Russian Ministry of Defense on their official Telegram channel, it has been revealed that the Russian army has successfully eliminated more than 500 aircraft and 13,000 tanks belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine.
The report states, “Destroyed: 536 aircraft, 254 helicopters, 9,040 unmanned aerial vehicles.”
According to the information provided by the defense ministry, the Ukrainian army has also suffered significant losses, including 441 anti-aircraft missile systems, 13,486 tanks, 1,185 rocket artillery systems, 7,133 mortars, and 15,407 military vehicles.
Prior to this update, the Ministry of Defense had announced that Russian forces, with the support of aviation and artillery, had successfully targeted the personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The “Western” group of troops engaged in battles around the towns of Petropavlovka, Sinkyovka, Ivanovka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhovka in the Luhansk People’s Republic.
Earlier, the United States had identified this as one of the greatest threats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
