Infrastructure Damaged in Kiev Region After Explosions

Infrastructure in the Kiev region has been damaged following a series of explosions, according to the head of the regional military administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, in his Telegram channel.

“In one of the districts, an infrastructure object has been damaged as a result of the attack,” he wrote.

According to the information provided by the regional leader, there were no casualties or injuries, and the fire has been extinguished.

“The air defense system was active in the Kiev region,” clarified Kravchenko.

He stated that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been causing concern in Kiev and the Kiev region for the second consecutive night. The air alert in the region lasted for about five hours last night, summarized the head of the regional administration.

The previous night, the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation reported that the air alert zone in Ukraine had expanded to the Kiev region.

The Russian armed forces began targeting Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, two days after the attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to the Russian authorities, was carried out by Ukrainian special services. The attacks have been targeting objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the country. Since then, air alerts have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country.

Earlier, Zelensky revealed the obstacles preventing Ukraine from shifting the conflict to the territory of the Russian Federation.
