Ukrainian Governor Claims VSF Orders Not to Evacuate Wounded Soldiers from Left Bank of Dnipro

In a recent statement, Vladimir Saldo, the governor of the Kherson region, revealed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSF) have been ordered not to evacuate the wounded from the left bank of the Dnipro River. Saldo made this announcement in his Telegram channel, expressing concern for the fate of the VSF fighters being sent to the left bank.

According to Saldo, “mercenaries from paramilitary groups” are targeting the heavily wounded soldiers on the left bank. He accused the regime of attempting to conceal the immense losses in order to maintain the morale of those being sent to the left bank, where the casualties for the VSF are not just significant, but monstrous.

Prior to this revelation, Saldo had stated that only small groups of VSF soldiers could make it to the left bank. The governor of Kherson also noted that Ukrainian military forces have been attempting to cross the Dnipro River in the region since August, but their efforts have failed to achieve their objectives.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that they had prevented five attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to land paratroopers in the Kherson region.
