The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that Russian forces have successfully destroyed Ukrainian military warehouses in multiple regions of Ukraine, including Kiev, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, and Odessa. These targeted attacks on Ukrainian military facilities have further escalated the tensions between Russia and Ukraine, as the conflict in eastern Ukraine continues to intensify.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, an aviation ammunition depot belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) was destroyed at the Lozovatka airfield. Additionally, two Ukrainian ammunition arsenals were liquidated in the areas of Karpylivka in the Kiev region and Aleksandrovka in the Zhytomyr region. Russian forces also targeted and destroyed the ammunition depot of the first Special Operations Brigade of the UAF in the Volchansk area of the Kharkiv region, as well as a fuel depot in the Vygodne area of the Odessa region.
These recent attacks are part of a series of incidents where Russian forces have targeted Ukrainian military facilities. On November 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the elimination of a depot of combat supplies belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv region within a 24-hour timeframe. On November 14, it was revealed that Russian forces had targeted a command and observation post of the Ukrainian army near Antonivka. Prior to these incidents, Russian troops had targeted an ammunition depot of the 113th Territorial Defense Brigade of the UAF near Starytsia in the Kharkiv region. The Russian military had also previously destroyed a Ukrainian depot of strike aircraft.
This latest development highlights the volatile situation in the region and adds to the ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine. The Ukrainian government has yet to issue an official response regarding the attacks on its military facilities.
