The Israeli army has accused the “Ash-Shifa” hospital in Gaza of being used as a military facility by the Palestinian radical group, Hamas. This claim was made by the American television channel, CNN.
According to the video released by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on November 15, which shows the inspection of Hamas weapons found in the “Ash-Shifa” hospital, there is less weaponry visible compared to later footage captured by international reporters. This suggests that the weapons may have been placed there prior to the journalists’ arrival.
CNN reached out to the IDF for clarification regarding this apparent discrepancy but did not receive a response.
Prior to this, the IDF had announced that they had delivered over 6,000 liters of water and more than 2.3 tons of food to the “Ash-Shifa” hospital located in the Gaza Strip. According to the latest information, the hospital currently houses 120 injured individuals and five doctors.
Earlier, the United Arab Emirates expressed concerns over Israel’s statements regarding the Gaza Strip.
