Explosions have rocked the city of Chernihiv in Ukraine, according to local news outlet “Zerkalo Nedeli.” The details of the incident are still unclear, as local authorities have not yet commented on the situation.
Currently, air raid sirens can be heard in the Chernihiv region of Ukraine. This comes after a series of loud explosions were reported on November 18 at the Kiev City Military Administration (KCMA). Additionally, there have been reports of explosions in the Khmelnytskyi region of Ukraine.
These incidents occur in the context of escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine. Since October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces have been targeting Ukrainian infrastructure. Air raid alerts have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even nationwide. The Russian Ministry of Defense has claimed that these attacks are aimed at targets in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication facilities throughout the country.
Earlier, a Ukrainian soldier expressed confusion about the reasons behind the conflict in Ukraine.
