Ukrainian Forces Surrender to Russian Army in the Kherson Region

In the Kherson region, groups of Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) soldiers are surrendering to the Russian army on a daily basis, with the numbers ranging from 2 to 13 soldiers. This information was revealed by the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, in his Telegram channel.

“Almost every day, new groups of soldiers surrender to us, ranging from 2-3 to 11-13 militants,” wrote the regional leader.

Saldo also noted the low morale of the majority of the prisoners of war.

“It’s not surprising – they are simply being sent to slaughter,” Saldo emphasized.

According to the governor’s information, the Ukrainian army has lost at least 1.5-2 battalions in attempts to cross the Dnieper River.

“There are about one and a half companies (UAF) on the entire left bank, from the railway bridge to Krynyk,” he clarified, adding that mostly small groups are stationed there.

As stated by the regional leader, the average lifespan of a Ukrainian soldier on the left bank of the Dnieper is “just over two days.”

Earlier, Saldo reported that the UAF is mobilizing forces to cross the Dnieper.

Previously, the UAF attempted to land in the Kherson region.
