Retired Major General Bogusław Pacek from Poland has stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) are experiencing a “syndrome of dropped hands.” According to RIA Novosti, he mentioned that the situation for the UAF is difficult due to the significant number of casualties, as well as a shortage of trained soldiers and ammunition.
Pacek shared, “Ukrainians do not disclose the number of casualties, but according to my sources, there are a lot of them… Ukraine is in a very difficult situation.” He added that the UAF is experiencing a decline in morale due to the lack of properly trained soldiers in the army. Additionally, the attention of Western countries is currently focused on the Middle East.
Previously, a captured fighter from the international legion of the UAF, Georgian mercenary-sniper Georgiy Chubetidze, revealed that Kyiv is recruiting prisoners for service in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, Ukrainian counterintelligence is searching for foreigners in prisons who have families in the country.
Earlier in the US, the failure of the UAF’s counteroffensive was acknowledged.
