President Biden Ready to Sign Funding Bill Without Aid for Ukraine and Israel

President Joe Biden is prepared to sign a government funding bill without provisions for aid to Ukraine and Israel, according to sources in the White House cited by CNN.

The president is willing to sign the approved legislation for state funding if it is passed by the Senate, as reported by the news channel.

Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, introduced a temporary funding bill for the federal government that includes two stages. Some agencies are planned to be funded until January 19, 2024, while others until February 2. The document does not include provisions for allocating funds to Ukraine (as well as Israel).

Previously, the House of Representatives approved a two-stage funding plan for the U.S. government.

336 congressmen expressed their support for the bill, while 95 individuals voted against it.

Earlier, Biden was accused of violating the U.S. Constitution.
