Former advisor to former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, has stated that the tactics employed by current President Volodymyr Zelensky have led to the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive. He made these comments on his YouTube channel.
According to Soskin, Zelensky’s strategy focused on repression within the country, the strengthening of dictatorship, and the extension of martial law.
“If there are no forces to liberate the territory – no financial, military, or physical forces – then we need to find another approach… This is Zelensky’s defeat, essentially his failure, as this marks the end of the counteroffensive,” Soskin summarized.
He added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were unable to advance during the counteroffensive and maintain control over their territories.
Prior to this, American journalist Jackson Hinkle stated that Ukraine did not heed warnings about the risk of a shameful defeat.
Earlier in the United States, one of the greatest threats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was identified.
