Explosions shake Mirgorod in Ukraine’s Poltava region amid ongoing air alarm

Mirgorod, a city in Ukraine’s Poltava region, was rocked by explosions during an air alarm, according to Ukrainian news outlet “Strana.ua” in a recent report.

The publication states, “Reports of an explosion in Mirgorod in the Poltava region.”

According to the online map of the country’s Ministry of Digital Transformation, the air alarm was declared in the Poltava region at 21:34 Moscow time and continues to sound.

On November 15, it was reported that a series of explosions occurred in Kherson, which is under Ukrainian government control.

Russian armed forces have been launching attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure since October 10, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to Russian authorities, was carried out by Ukrainian special services. The attacks target objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the country. Since then, air alarms have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country.

Earlier, Ukraine was urged to abandon lengthy air alarms for the sake of profit.
