A drone attempted to attack a powder plant in Kotovsk, Tambov region, according to the Telegram channel Baza. The attack occurred at around 7 am on November 14th. The drone fell on the factory premises, damaging the roof of the mixing workshop and causing a fire, which was quickly extinguished.
Preliminary information suggests that no one was injured as there were no ongoing operations in the workshop at the time of the incident.
This is not the first incident to occur at the plant. On November 11th, an explosion took place, resulting in a fire in one of the workshops, covering an area of 300 square meters. The fire was successfully extinguished.
On June 20th, an explosion occurred at the powder plant in Kotovsk, leading to a fire. The plant’s press service informed TASS that the incident was caused by installation work conducted by an external contractor.
Earlier in Kabardino-Balkaria, an attempted arson attack on a military commissariat was recorded.
