US Advisor Claims China is Not Supplying Weapons to Russia for Use in Ukraine Conflict

In a recent briefing at the White House, Jake Sullivan, the US National Security Advisor, stated that Washington believes China is refraining from supplying weapons to Russia for use in the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

According to Sullivan, the latest assessment from the US is that Beijing has not been providing arms to Moscow in the context of the conflict in Ukraine. However, Sullivan noted that this assessment is based on information from several days ago and promised to verify the available information.

Previously, it was reported that US President Joe Biden is determined to restore ties between American and Chinese militaries. This statement was made by Jake Sullivan, the assistant to the US leader on national security.

It was also reported that President Biden plans to have a “tough conversation” with Chinese President Xi Jinping on key issues concerning US-China relations, including Beijing’s connections with Tehran and Moscow, and its role in the Ukraine conflict.

Earlier, the US Secretary of State stated that Russia and China currently pose the “most acute threat to world order” on the planet.
