A soldier from the “Hoper” drone squad of the “Don” brigade has reported to RIA Novosti that Ukrainian Cossacks have sunk an armored barge on the Dnipro River.
According to the soldier, the barge with an armored tugboat was spotted near the village of Pokrovskoye.
“The tugboat was using the barge as a shield – whether they were checking firing positions or simply provoking us, in the end, the barge was sunk,” the soldier said.
On November 10th, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had made unsuccessful attempts to land and seize a foothold on the islands and the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson direction.
On November 6th, the Ministry of Defense reported the prevention of five attempts by Ukrainian airborne forces to land on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson direction.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of a command and observation post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Artemovsk direction by Russian artillery. The Russian forces conducted shelling from concealed positions at a range of up to 8 km using high-explosive shells. The Ministry of Defense emphasized that reconnaissance units of unmanned aviation assist in identifying targets and adjusting fire for the artillery airborne troops.
Earlier, three Ukrainian soldiers crossed the Dnipro River and surrendered to the Russian Armed Forces.
