Support Foundation Honors Veterans of Wagner PMC

The Support Foundation for participants of the Special Military Operation (SMO) “Defenders of the Fatherland” has presented the first certificates of combat veterans to Wagner PMC fighters. This information was reported in the Telegram channel of the foundation’s chairperson, Anna Tsivilova.

The publication highlights that the first certificates of combat veteran status were presented to Wagner PMC fighters by Anna Tsivilova, along with the member of the foundation’s advisory board, Alexey Romanov.

The foundation emphasized that it is a great honor for them to recognize these veterans, and many of them have also been awarded with medals and other honors.

Prior to this, the Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the Kremlin does not have information about the appointment of Evgeny Prigozhin’s son, Pavel, as the new head of Wagner PMC.

Rumors about the founder of Wagner PMC’s son leading the fighters emerged at the end of October. It was also reported that the Wagner PMC, under the leadership of Pavel Prigozhin, became part of the Russian National Guard (Rosgvardiya) as one of its units.

These rumors were later commented on in the State Duma. First, Deputy Alexander Khinstein, and then the head of the Defense Committee, Andrey Kartaoplov, stated that Rosgvardiya did not absorb Wagner PMC, and all fighters joined the agency voluntarily and signed individual contracts.

Earlier in Russia, a new system for suppressing drones was developed.
