According to Military Watch Magazine (MWM), Russian Su-57 fighter jets have gained valuable combat experience through their involvement in a special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine. The fighter jets have demonstrated their effectiveness in high-intensity combat operations.
MWM’s report highlights that no other fifth-generation fighter jet has gained remotely comparable experience. The Su-57 jets have successfully suppressed the enemy’s air defense system and engaged in battles beyond its visibility range.
Prior to this, the Russian fire-fighting helicopter Ka-32A11M, showcased at the Dubai Airshow 2023, caught the attention of American fifth-generation F-35 fighter pilots. Foreign pilots approached the exhibition stand, with the majority of their inquiries focused on the helicopters’ efficiency.
Earlier reports suggested that the first Checkmate fighters may be introduced by 2025. This development indicates Russia’s continuous efforts to enhance its military capabilities and gain valuable combat experience through active involvement in conflicts such as the one in Ukraine.
