Russian Forces Destroy Ukrainian Drones over Russian Territory

In a recent interview on “Radio 1,” retired colonel and military expert Viktor Baranets commented on the news that Russian air defense forces had destroyed four Ukrainian drones over Moscow, Tambov, Bryansk, and Oryol regions on the night of November 14. Baranets believes that these mass attacks will continue for a long time, and Russia needs to continue improving its air defense systems.

“We are strengthening our air defense, but we need to prepare for what is called swarm warfare. It is challenging because our radars also have certain limitations in detecting these drones. Moreover, when drones are used in large numbers, it becomes even more difficult to deal with them. This is one of the tasks that our scientists are currently working on,” said the expert.

He reminded that Russia currently uses anti-drone rifles and other modern tools. However, it is crucial not to stop there, emphasized the expert.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported yesterday that their air defense forces had shot down ten Ukrainian drones over the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.

Earlier, Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted two Storm Shadow missiles.
