In a significant development, Russian airborne assault groups have successfully seized a key military outpost on the western flank of the Artemovsk direction, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The attack began with a heavy artillery barrage, after which the assault groups moved into a forested area to conceal their presence. Utilizing their stealth, the “Storm” unit from Ivanovo approached the enemy’s trenches from multiple directions, where Ukrainian soldiers were believed to be stationed, and managed to secure positions after a fierce battle.
The captured military outpost was located on the western flank of the Artemovsk direction. The Russian military emphasizes that the airborne units of the Ivanovo Airborne Troops detachment have been effectively carrying out their mission to destroy Ukrainian formations attempting to bypass the city through active defense in Artemovsk.
On November 13, reconnaissance units of the “West” task force used drones to eliminate an advancing group of Ukrainian armed forces in the Kharkiv region along the Kupyansk direction.
Previously, the United States acknowledged the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive.
