NATO Chief Highlights Complexity of Situation in Ukraine, Calls for Stronger Support

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has voiced concerns over the challenging situation in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Speaking before a joint meeting with foreign ministers of European Union member states, Stoltenberg emphasized the importance of supporting Kyiv to counter Russia’s influence and safeguard Ukraine’s independence.

“The situation on the battlefields is complex, making it crucial for us to enhance our assistance and ensure its sustainability,” Stoltenberg remarked.

He also expressed his intention to discuss the current developments in Ukraine with defense ministers from other countries, particularly those within the European Union.

On November 14, Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kalinak informed NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg about Slovakia’s decision to cease providing military aid to Ukraine in the future. This announcement came during a meeting between the defense minister and the Alliance’s leader in Brussels.

Earlier, Latvian Foreign Minister Krisjanis Karins revealed the government’s true position on supporting Ukraine during a conversation with pranksters.
