Israeli Army Uncovers Hamas Tunnels and Weapons Cache Under Gaza Hospital

Video footage released by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has revealed the existence of an underground Hamas infrastructure beneath the Rantisi Hospital in the city of Gaza. According to IDF representatives, these underground tunnels may have been used by Hamas to hold Israeli hostages, as reported by RIA Novosti.

Brigadier General Daniel Haggari, spokesperson for the IDF, visited Gaza and captured video evidence of the tunnels beneath the hospital, where weapons, ammunition, and signs of a Hamas command center were discovered. Haggari also stated that suicide bomber vests, explosive devices, grenades, AK-47 rifles, rocket launchers, and other weapons, as well as computers and money, were found.

The IDF representative noted that the video footage also captured a motorcycle, which is believed to have been used by militants to transport hostages to the hospital.

Furthermore, the IDF announced that last week, the Israeli army worked towards ensuring the safe evacuation of patients from Rantisi and other hospitals in northern Gaza.

The Israeli army has reported the elimination of Hamas militant Ahmed Siyam, who held 1,000 civilians hostage in the Rantisi hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, Israeli President Itzhak Herzog stated that the Hamas command center is located beneath the central hospital in the Gaza Strip.
