Growing Demand for Russian Military Equipment Abroad

The demand for Russian military technology, which has proven itself during special operations in Ukraine, has increased overseas. This was reported by TASS, referring to the head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov.

“Yes, of course. There is great interest,” Chemezov replied to the journalist’s question.

He added that military personnel who use the equipment in the area of military operations meet with engineers and designers from Rostec and note the strengths and weaknesses of the weaponry. According to Chemezov, the specialists take into account the soldiers’ suggestions, which are reflected in regular equipment upgrades.

It was previously reported that Russia has started preparations for the production of fifth-generation fighter jets, Checkmate. The first prototype is planned to be released by 2025. It is expected that the aircraft will be in demand in Arab countries, India, and Vietnam, primarily due to its affordability. The aircraft could potentially serve as an alternative to more expensive F-35 and J-31 jets.

Earlier, Russia developed a next-generation air-launched missile.
