Russians Struggle to Cross Rafah Border on Donkeys Amid Fuel Shortage

Amidst the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, Russians who have evacuated the area are facing difficulties in crossing the Rafah border into Egypt. According to reports from TASS, some individuals have resorted to using donkeys and carts to reach their destination due to a lack of fuel.

One evacuee, Tatiana, shared her experience, stating that she had run out of fuel after driving to the Gaza Strip and was unable to return. This highlights the challenging situation at the Rafah border crossing.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations previously reported that over 60 Russian citizens had successfully crossed the Rafah border from the Gaza Strip and are currently in Egypt. Additionally, 10 more Russian citizens residing in the Gaza Strip have also crossed the border and entered Egypt.

In a separate development, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called for reforms within the United Nations (UN) as he believes the organization is ineffective and unable to influence events in the Gaza Strip. Erdogan’s statement reflects growing dissatisfaction with the UN’s response to the ongoing conflict.

Earlier, Israeli President Isaac Herzog claimed that the Hamas command center is located beneath the central hospital in the Gaza Strip. This allegation raises concerns about the use of civilian infrastructure by militant groups in the region.

The situation in the Gaza Strip remains complex and continues to draw international attention. The challenges faced by Russians attempting to cross the Rafah border on donkeys highlight the desperate circumstances caused by the ongoing conflict. With calls for UN reform and allegations of militant infrastructure, the situation requires careful examination and international cooperation to find a resolution.
