The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have suffered over 800 military casualties in the South Donbass region within a week.
According to the defense ministry’s statement, Russian troops in the mentioned direction have also destroyed a tank and 12 armored vehicles belonging to the UAF.
Prior to this, the RIA Novosti agency had reported that Russian paratroopers had launched a missile at a tank discovered by soldiers from the “Osman” army special forces on the Zaporizhia direction.
On November 3, the Ministry of Defense shared the successes achieved in the South Donbass region. Within a week, the UAF lost seven tanks, as well as 11 armored vehicles, 28 automobiles, and nine artillery pieces in this area. Additionally, a combat vehicle of a multiple launch rocket system was successfully eliminated.
Previously, Oleg Chekhov, the head of the press center of the Russian troop group “Vostok,” had announced that the troops of the group, with artillery support, had thwarted eight attempts by the UAF to rotate forces in the South Donbass region.
Earlier, President Zelensky had revealed the obstacles preventing Ukraine from shifting the hostilities onto Russian territory.
