Israeli Army Regains Control Over Hamas Strongholds in Northern Gaza

In a recent announcement on their Telegram channel, the Israeli Army declared that they have taken control over key Hamas positions in the northern region of Gaza. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), their soldiers have successfully eliminated approximately 150 terrorists during the clashes and established control over the Hamas strongholds.

Prior to this development, the Israeli military had targeted over 15,000 locations in the Gaza sector since the escalation of the conflict with Palestine. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society also reported clashes near the Al-Quds hospital in Gaza on November 10th.

On October 7th, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, initiating the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and taking over a hundred hostages. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country was in a state of war.

The Israeli Defense Forces’ counter-operation has been named “Iron Swords,” with one of its main objectives being the destruction of Hamas. Prime Minister Netanyahu had previously vowed to eliminate Hamas.

This recent development marks a significant advancement in Israel’s efforts to combat the threat posed by Hamas in the region. The IDF’s success in regaining control over key Hamas strongholds demonstrates their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of Israeli citizens. However, the situation in Gaza remains tense, and further updates on the conflict are anticipated in the coming days.
