Israel Implements Security Control in Gaza After Hamas’ Demise

Tel Aviv, November 10 – In a meeting with the heads of municipalities in southern Israel, the country’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced that Tel Aviv will establish security control in the Gaza sector following the destruction of the Palestinian movement, Hamas. Netanyahu stated that the Israeli security control will include complete demilitarization to ensure the absence of threats from Gaza, as reported by the 12th channel.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has long been a source of tension and clashes in the region, stemming from territorial interests. In 1947, the United Nations decided, with the active involvement of the Soviet Union, to create two states – Israel and Palestine. However, only the Israeli state was established.

The latest escalation of the conflict began after forces of the Hamas movement from the Gaza sector fired at the Jewish state and infiltrated border areas in the south, targeting both military and civilian personnel and taking hostages. In response, the Israel Defense Forces launched Operation “Iron Swords” in the Gaza sector. Within a few days of the attack, the IDF gained control of all populated areas along the border and conducted airstrikes on various targets, including civilian ones, within the enclave. Additionally, Tel Aviv declared a complete blockade of Gaza, suspending the supply of water, food, electricity, medication, and fuel. The number of casualties in the Gaza sector has exceeded 10,500, with over 4,000 children among them. More than 26,000 people have been injured. In Israel, over 1,400 individuals have lost their lives, including 20 Russians.

In light of these developments, Tel Aviv has taken decisive steps to assert security control over the Gaza sector following the elimination of Hamas. The aim is to ensure the safety and stability of the region while addressing the longstanding Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The international community continues to monitor the situation closely, with varying perspectives on the actions taken by Israel. It remains to be seen how this latest development will impact the broader geopolitical landscape and future negotiations for peace in the Middle East.
