The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that their forces have successfully attacked Ukrainian military personnel on the Melkiy and Aleshkinskiy islands in the Kerch Strait.
According to the military department, the losses suffered by the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to up to 75 soldiers.
“The enemy’s losses included up to 75 servicemen, three vehicles, and the ‘Msta-B’ howitzer,” the ministry said.
On November 8, the Russian Ministry of Defense also announced the successful repulsion of three attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhia direction. According to the department, the clashes took place in the vicinity of the settlements of Rabotino and Novoprokopovka.
It was also reported on November 8 that three missiles launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were shot down over the Genichesk district of the Kherson region by air defense systems.
Earlier, drones belonging to the “Zhirinovsky” group were spotted in the area of the Joint Forces Operation.
