Ansar Allah Claims Responsibility for Missile Attack on Israeli City of Eilat

Ansar Allah, a Shiite movement, has claimed responsibility for a recent missile attack on the southern Israeli city of Eilat. Brigadier General Yahya Sari, a representative of the Houthi armed forces, made the announcement on the Al-Masira channel, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“We have launched a batch of ballistic missiles at various sensitive targets of the Zionist enemy in the south of the occupied territories, including military facilities in Eilat. The operation successfully achieved its objectives and directly hit the mentioned targets, although the enemy is attempting to conceal it,” he said.

Sari emphasized that the Houthis will continue to carry out military operations until Israel ceases its aggression against the Gaza Strip.

On November 9, The Jerusalem Post reported an explosion in the Israeli city of Eilat, located on the shores of the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea. According to the publication, the explosion may have been caused by the crash of an unmanned aerial vehicle in the populated area.

Prior to this incident, the military wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, claimed to have launched a rocket towards the Israeli city of Eilat.

On November 1, the Israeli army’s press service reported the interception of an object in the air near the Red Sea, south of Eilat.

Earlier, a political analyst cited one of the reasons for the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
