Russian Air Defense Forces Destroy 31 Ukrainian Drones in a Day

Russian Air Defense Forces successfully neutralized 31 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) within a single day, according to a report released by the Russian Ministry of Defense. The drones were reportedly taken down in various regions, including Tavolzhanka and Kotlyarivka in the Kharkiv region, Nyrkovo in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Novaya Kamneka and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), as well as Tarasivka and Samoilivka in the Zaporizhia region.

The news comes after Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, Nikolai Patrushev, expressed concerns during a meeting with colleagues from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in Moscow regarding Ukraine’s alleged attacks on three Russian nuclear power plants (NPPs).

In a separate incident, debris from a downed UAV in Sevastopol was reported to have fallen onto the roof of a private residence in Andreyevka. The air defense system in Sevastopol successfully intercepted and shot down a total of five drones.

This recent development follows Russia’s introduction of a new drone neutralization system, showcasing their ongoing efforts to combat UAV threats.
