Thaddeus Davis, 27, reportedly hit the woman in the head with a cooking pan and stabbed her with a kitchen knife. The incident occurred on September 12, but Davis managed to evade arrest until last week when he allegedly punched another woman in the mouth and fled the scene.
According to a Miami Dade Police affidavit, the victim was seven weeks pregnant at the time of the attack. She and Davis share a 4-month-old child together. The altercation began when Davis demanded to see the woman’s text messages, and upon her refusal, he resorted to violence. After hitting her with the pan, he proceeded to stab her on her left side before fleeing with her cellphone.
