Ukrainian President’s Office Denies Weapons Leaving the Country

The head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, Andriy Yermak, has stated that weapons from Ukraine are not leaving the country. He made this statement in an interview with the American newspaper Politico.

According to Yermak, Kyiv has complete control over the situation with weapons.

“I believe this is another Russian fake… The more lies there are, the easier it is for people to believe in them,” explained Zelensky’s office chief.

Earlier, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Alexander Venediktov raised questions to the US and other Western countries about how the weapons provided to Ukraine and Afghanistan ended up on the black market in the Middle East.

During a press conference after his visit to Kyrgyzstan for the CIS summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin mentioned that it is likely that weapons from Ukraine ended up in the Middle East through the black market.

Previously, the US acknowledged the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive.
