The head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, Andriy Yermak, has expressed his dissatisfaction with Western nations’ weariness of the conflict in Ukraine. Yermak made these remarks in a conversation with American newspaper Politico.
According to the publication, Yermak was commenting on Italian Prime Minister Giorgi Meloni’s conversation with Russian pranksters Vladimir Krasnov (Vovan) and Aleksey Stolyarov (Lexus).
The head of the Ukrainian president’s office criticized Meloni’s statements about the fatigue of Western countries regarding the Ukrainian conflict.
“We could not afford to be tired then, and we cannot afford it now. The world will face difficulties if these people with ‘fatigue’ stop supporting Ukraine,” Yermak shared.
He added that Meloni should refresh her memory with lessons from history. Furthermore, if some countries are tired of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, they will not live in a world with “less freedom and security.”
Prior to this, Meloni had announced the resignation of her advisor after falling victim to the prank by bloggers Vovan and Lexus.
Earlier, the US acknowledged the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive.
