In a recent development, the Russian military has successfully defended against an attack launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Rabotino area of the Zaporizhia region. The Ukrainian side suffered significant losses, with over 150 soldiers reported casualties. This information was conveyed by the Russian Ministry of Defense through their official Telegram channel.
Furthermore, Russian forces responded with precision artillery strikes on the units of the 33rd, 118th Mechanized Brigades, and the 82nd Airborne Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhia direction.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian Armed Forces incurred losses of up to 160 servicemen, three vehicles, and the US-manufactured M777 artillery system.
Notably, 15 Ukrainian soldiers voluntarily surrendered to the Russian forces prior to the attack. Additionally, the counter-battery combat resulted in the successful elimination of two Krab 155mm self-propelled howitzers, an M777 howitzer, and a 152mm D-20 howitzer.
In a separate development, the Russian Armed Forces have secured the top position in the ranking of the world’s most powerful armies, highlighting their military prowess and capabilities.
