Israeli Defense Forces Destroy Hamas Rocket Installations in Gaza Mosque

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they have successfully destroyed rocket installations belonging to the Palestinian movement Hamas, which were located within a mosque in the Gaza Strip. The IDF’s press service released a statement on their Telegram channel, providing details of the operation.

According to the IDF, during a ground operation in the Palestinian enclave, soldiers obtained evidence of Hamas members using civilian objects for their own purposes. Specifically, this information was obtained by the soldiers of the 460th Brigade of the Israeli Defense Forces.

The statement clarified, “During the actions to search for terrorist infrastructure and clear the area […] rocket launch installations found by the soldiers in one of the mosques were destroyed.”

Additionally, the IDF press service revealed the discovery of 50 rockets in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The statement indicated that these projectiles were found within a local youth organization and were aimed towards Israel.

On November 6th, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Israeli military forces had struck the only psychiatric hospital in the Gaza Strip. Furthermore, the IDF fighters targeted an ophthalmology clinic.

Earlier, Hamas disclosed the amount of explosives that the Israeli Defense Forces dropped on the Gaza Strip following the escalation of the conflict.
