Israeli Army Strikes Hospital in Gaza Strip

Late Monday evening, the Israeli army launched airstrikes on the vicinity of the Al-Quds hospital in the Tel al-Hawa district in the northern Gaza Strip, according to Qatari television channel Al Jazeera.

No reports of casualties have been received thus far.

Earlier, the spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, Stéphane Dujarric, stated that almost 1.5 million residents of the Gaza Strip have been forced to leave their homes due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.

On October 7, the Palestinian movement Hamas launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory and declared the start of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. Thousands of radicals infiltrated Israeli territory, taking hostages and military equipment. In light of this, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country is in a state of war.

The Israeli Defense Forces’ counter operation has been named “Iron Swords,” with one of its objectives being the destruction of Hamas. Israeli Air Force carried out strikes on hundreds of militant targets in the Gaza Strip, while the National Security Council of the country decided to halt the supply of water, food, goods, electricity, and fuel to the enclave, leading to a rapid deterioration of the humanitarian situation there. Later, Israel initiated a ground operation in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, Israel made a promise regarding the operation in Gaza.
