Russian Air Force Strikes Terrorist Drone Warehouse in Syria

During an operation in the Syrian province of Idlib, the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS RF) conducted an airstrike on a warehouse containing terrorist drones. Vice-Admiral Vadim Kulit, Deputy Head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides (CPVS) in Syria, made this announcement during a briefing in Moscow, as reported by Interfax.

According to him, “The Russian Aerospace Forces conducted an air strike in the area of the settlement of Chiflik-Shogur in the Idlib province, hitting a warehouse of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that were used by militants to shell positions of the Syrian government forces.”

Furthermore, Vice-Admiral Kulit noted that the so-called “international anti-terrorist coalition” led by the United States continues to create dangerous situations in Syrian airspace, violating deconfliction protocols and infringing upon Syria’s airspace.

“In the past 24 hours, there have been 10 violations in the area of At-Tanf by two F-15 fighters, three pairs of F-16 fighters, and two MQ-1C unmanned aerial vehicles of the ‘coalition’,” Kulit reported.

On November 5, the VKS RF targeted illegal armed formations in Syria.

Earlier, Syria accused Israel of violating international humanitarian law in Gaza.
