Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Daniel Hargai has announced that Israeli troops have successfully encircled Gaza City, taking positions along the coastal area of the city. However, a humanitarian corridor will continue to operate to allow the local population to evacuate to the southern sector. This information was reported by TASS.
According to Hargai, IDF soldiers have reached the coastal strip from the south of Gaza and have surrounded the city.
Hargai added that the Israeli side allows the operation of the humanitarian corridor to enable residents in the northern part of Gaza to move and evacuate to the south.
