Israeli Army Conducts Raids in West Bank Cities, Clashes Erupt

The Israeli army has reportedly carried out raids in three cities in the West Bank, namely Jenin, Nablus, and Tulkarm, according to the Jerusalem Post. The operations resulted in clashes, with at least three Palestinians sustaining injuries in Nablus.

On November 4th, it was reported that the Israeli Defense Forces conducted a raid in the southern Gaza Strip, involving armored and engineering units.

Prior to this, the Israeli army had announced a strike on a Hamas ambulance. The Israeli side claimed that civilians in the area were urged to evacuate to the south for their safety.

On October 7th, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, initiating the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. Thousands of militants infiltrated Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu declared the country to be in a state of war.

The Israeli Defense Forces’ retaliatory operation has been named “Operation Iron Swords,” with the destruction of Hamas being one of its objectives.

Earlier, a political analyst identified one of the reasons behind the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
