The United States military is facing losses in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the Middle East, according to former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) analyst Larry Johnson in an interview with journalist George Galloway, published on Galloway’s YouTube channel.
“US armed forces have suffered losses, but they are not disclosing them,” said the ex-CIA agent.
According to Johnson, every American base in Iraq and Syria is being targeted by artillery strikes, and drones are regularly hitting them as well.
Johnson noted that intelligence operatives familiar with the situation in the region have been reporting a deteriorating condition for American soldiers since the start of the hostilities in the Gaza sector.
Previously, it was reported that armed Shiite groups from the “Islamic Resistance of Iraq” fired rockets at a US military base in Ash-Shaddadi in the southern Syrian province of Hasakah. An American facility in Iraq, north of Erbil, was also targeted in the attack.
Earlier, the US had predicted defeat in the Middle East conflict.
